We Offer Puppies and Young Dogs for Adoption (untrained)

All of the dogs sold through Pro Paws are from our own healthy, genetically and temperamentally superior stock. We never sell puppies or dogs purchased elsewhere.  This insures that only the very best puppies are produced. We can guarantee our puppies against health problems and temperament flaws because we know the puppy’s parents, grand-parents, great-grand-parents, aunts and uncles, etc. We know which of our dog’s lines of parentage perform best in which endeavor. We know because we live with them, we work with them and we play with them every day. Our parent dogs do not live in outdoor kennels. Our parent dogs are working dogs who live with the people they work with; as service dogs, therapy dogs, in competitive obedience rings and as pets. We don’t believe in outdoor dogs. Dogs are meant to be with people, and all of our dogs, breeding stock and puppies, do just that.

This is also why we do not offer training for dogs purchased from other breeders. We can’t guarantee the health and temperament of dogs purchased elsewhere. We know our dogs. We know the level of quality. This is why we only offer our own puppies.

We Offer Started Puppies and Obedience Trained Dogs

Not everyone has the skill or the time to train a dog. We frequently have started puppies (puppies that are 4 to 7 months old and have been started in housebreaking, good manners and basic obedience), and trained adult dogs (dogs 9 to 12 months who are housebroken, ride well in a car, have good manners around people and other dogs and have mastered basic obedience commands).

We Can Finish a Puppy’s Training to Suit Your Needs

Choose any of our puppies for adoption (or an already started puppy or dog) and we can finish it’s training to suit your needs. This is the easiest way to achieve the desired goal of a working canine partner in the quickest possible time.

Our Support Staff Comes To YOU

We are based in Colorado, but we will travel – with the puppy  – to wherever you need us in the continental United States. We will make sure that you and your new puppy or dog get off to the best start possible. We will offer training to you and your staff, giving the information and skills necessary for success. If it is a puppy you purchased we will help you choose a local trainer to help you train your puppy to our standards.

When you adopt one of our puppies or dogs, our support staff insures that over 40 years of dog training experience comes with it.
